Edible STEAM Camp

In this exciting STEAM-based camp, campers will explore science, engineering, and creativity using edible materials to build, experiment, and design unique creations.

Throughout the week, children will make pudding slime, build cereal structures, create Jolly Rancher bubbles, construct edible double helix DNA models, experiment with glow-in-the-dark Jello, mix up fizzy lemonade and slushy science, test pop rock balloons, and so much more.

Each activity is designed to spark curiosity, encourage hands-on learning, and show campers that science is something you can see, touch, taste, and experience in unforgettable ways.

Get ready for a week where learning is deliciously fun.

Can You BUILD It? Camp

Members $198 | Non-members $220

Campers will unleash their creativity as they design and build amazing structures using recycled materials, Legos, and a variety of unexpected, out-of-the-box supplies. This hands-on camp encourages innovation, problem-solving, and tons of fun! Campers will bring ideas to life as they design Robot Circuits, build and decorate their own Birdhouses, construct colorful Hot Air Balloons, race Cardboard Cars on custom tracks, and engineer Boats to see which creations float the best.

Each day is packed with hands-on challenges that spark imagination, encourage teamwork, and inspire young engineers to think big, try new ideas, and have fun discovering how things work.

It’s creativity, problem-solving, and learning—all powered by play.

Mad Science Camp

Calling all young scientists! Get ready for a week packed with hands-on experiments, big reactions, and exciting discoveries.

Campers will mix up their own creations in our Slime Lab, put physics to the test in a catapult engineering challenge, and explore the wonders of chemistry, earth science, space, and electricity. From erupting volcanoes to rocket launches and glowing circuit builds, each day is filled with building, testing, and discovering how science shapes our world.

Perfect for curious kids who love to experiment, invent, and ask BIG questions!

Big Wide World Camp

Pack your bags and grab your passport — we’re traveling the globe!

In Big Wide World Camp, children will explore environments, art, landmarks, and cultures from across the world through hands-on activities, creative projects, and interactive learning. Campers will journey to Sweden to discover Viking culture and create catapults, explore the lush rainforests of Peru, “scale” the Eiffel Tower in France, adventure through the Outback of Australia, and construct their own Learning Tower of Pisa while discovering Italy.

Along the way, campers will create themed crafts, engage in cultural experiences, and learn fun facts about each destination. By the end of the week, their passport will be stamped with every country visited — a keepsake of their global adventure.

Get ready for a week of discovery, creativity, and traveling the world without ever leaving camp.

ART-tastic Camp

Get ready to get messy and have a blast! In this hands-on art camp, young artists will use their imaginations to create bold, colorful, and textured works of art — and we’ll provide the aprons and handle the clean-up!

Campers will experiment with color mixing and kaleidoscope designs, create vibrant tie-dye creations, and explore splatter and marble roll painting inspired by famous artists. They’ll layer fabrics and mixed media materials, design sand art and fluffy paint projects, make texture rubbings, and craft ocean-inspired pieces like wave art and mini coral reefs.

Perfect for creative kids who love to explore new materials, get a little messy, and turn big ideas into masterpieces!

CMOP Explorers Camp

Half day: Members $198 | Non-members $220

Join us for a week of themed adventure and hands-on discovery at the Children’s Museum of Pooler! CMOP Explorers Camp is packed with exciting daily themes that combine creativity, movement, and engaging activities throughout the Museum.

Campers will explore Camping Day by building solar ovens and creating flashlight circuits to discover how science powers the outdoors. Glow-in-the-Dark Day lights up the fun with glowing slime and bright window cling creations. On Circus Day, kids will test their skills with ring toss engineering, tightrope balance challenges, and even make puffy paint cotton candy creations.

Water Day brings splash-filled science experiments and a trip to the Tanger Outlets splash pad, while Bug Day turns campers into junior explorers with insect investigations and fun bug-themed crafts.

Each day is filled with imagination, exploration, and hands-on fun — perfect for curious kids ready to become CMOP Explorers!

Just Pure FUN Camp!

Members $198 | Non-members $220

No rules (well… almost), no limits on creativity, and LOTS of laughter! This high-energy week is packed with messy mayhem, games, and over-the-top fun. Campers will experiment in an ooey-gooey Oobleck Lab, create colorful shaving cream marble art, and explore at our Giant Bubble Engineering Station. From junk art sculptures to the epic Ultimate Cardboard Chaos Challenge, kids will build, move, laugh, and create all week long. Campers will spin the Camp Chaos Wheel for surprise challenges like Speed Art, build challenges, freeze dance, and even popsicle parties! We’ll wrap it all up with Camper Takeover Day, where kids vote on dress-up themes and help choose the fun.

If your child loves high-energy creativity, teamwork, and unforgettable summer memories — this is the week they won’t want to miss! What a way to wrap up the summer!

FAQ  

Additional Information for CMOP Camps  

  1. CMOP Camp space is limited so register soon! Payment is due in full at the time of registration.
  2. Due to the risk of food allergies, we ask that absolutely NO PEANUT PRODUCTS be brought to CMOP Camp.
  3. Snacks will not be provided for children. Every child must bring their own snacks and water bottle from home every day of camp. Please send in a snack and a sack lunch for ALL Day campers. Please label all items with camper’s name.
  4. All participating children must be fully potty-trained.
  5. Please dress your child in clothes that can get messy and comfortable shoes! We have a LOT of fun!
  6. Children with the following physical signs and symptoms may not
    be dropped off due to risk of exposure: diarrhea, temperature of 100.4 degrees or above, excessive coughing, and rashes. Your child must be fever-free for at least 24 hours before being left at CMOP. We are unable to offer refunds for missed days of camp.
  7. Camp Late Pick-up Policy: You will be charged $1 per minute after 10 minutes has past camp end time.
  8. Camp Refunds: Camp space is limited and registration is handled on a first-come, first served basis. CMOP reserves the right to cancel camps that do not meet minimum enrollment. All camp fees are non-refundable, except in the instance a camp does not meet minimum enrollment.
  9. Campers will have time to play and explore the Museum each day during their camp time! After camp is finished, families are welcome to stay and play in the Museum, however a ticket must be purchased as admission is not included in the camp price.
