The Children’s Museum of Pooler is the perfect place for a birthday party! Enjoy our private party room for a 1 ½ hour celebration and plenty of play and learning in the Museum for the rest of the day! The Museum hosts birthday parties on Saturdays and Sundays during the following times:
Saturday
10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
12:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
3:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Sunday
1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
3:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Big Party
- For up to 10 kids (also includes 1 chaperone per child and birthday child’s parents)
- Decorated party room includes tables, tablecloths, plates, cups, silverware, and 15 balloons in primary colors of red, blue, and yellow
- Waters for party children provided
- Access to party room 15 minutes prior to party to set up decorations if you choose to bring your own themed decorations and/or tableware. A Museum Party Host will gladly assist you in decorating the room.
- Museum admission for all guests
- CMOP shirt for birthday child
- Parent may bring in own birthday cake
- Museum Party Host to assist with set-up and clean-up
Bigger Party
- For up to 15 kids (also includes 1 chaperone per child and birthday child’s parents)
- Decorated party room includes tables, tablecloths, plates, cups, silverware, and 15 balloons in primary colors of red, blue, and yellow

Additional Party Information
Outside food other than the birthday cake, cupcakes, fruit trays, vegetable trays, and boxed juices is not permitted for parties. You may bring your own birthday cake or cupcakes (or you can order them from us) and and your party host will take care of serving. CMOP provides bottled waters for the party guests (children). Catering options are available through CMOP at an additional cost.
$100 non-refundable deposit due at time of booking, remaining balance due on day of party. Please book birthday parties at least 14 days in advance to party date.
Food and beverages are not permitted in the Museum exhibits and must be kept in the party room at all times.
Cancellations will not be refunded. If a cancellation occurs two weeks prior to the date of the party, payments will be converted to a CMOP credit. A CMOP credit is good for one year from the date of issuance and may be applied to our classes, camps, memberships and birthday parties.
We do not allow confetti, glitter or piñatas and tape is not permitted on the walls or doors.
The birthday child’s parents may arrive 15 minutes prior to the party start time to set up additional items.
Themed Parties
Themed parties are an additional $65 for Big Parties, $85 for Bigger Parties, & $105 for Biggest Parties
Under Construction Party
Kids will love to suit up in their hard hats and safety vests as they build a mini skyscraper with our Imagination Playground blocks! Theme colors are yellow, black, and orange.
Walk the Plank Pirate Party
Ahoy Mateys! Come aboard the CMOP pirate ship for a grand time! This party is packed full of all things pirate…slip into a pirate vest, make a pirate hat, and enjoy a grand pirate adventure! Theme colors are white, black, gold, and red.
Diggin’ Dinos Party
Birthday guests will have a blast celebrating in the pre-historic era with the dinosaurs! Each child will receive their very own dinosaur tail! Your Museum Party host will facilitate a fossil dig activity with the group! Get digging and discover a world of dino fun! Theme colors are yellow, orange, and green.
Under the Sea Mermaid Party
Come celebrate with CMOP in an under-the-sea adventure! Birthday guests can decorate a special sea creature while wearing a mermaid inspired tutu! A purple and teal color scheme and nautical décor bring this theme to life.
ART-tastic Party
Let your little artist have a ball painting a colorful birthday masterpiece! Two artistic choices are available based upon age: 4”x4” canvas fingerpaint creation (ages 2-4) or a 8”x10” canvas creation (ages 5 & up). Smocks will be provided. Enjoy the fun without having to clean up the mess!
Superhero Party
Calling all superheroes to the rescue! Birthday guests will soar around the party room in their own superhero capes during this POW-tastic party! Each child can decorate a mask of disguise to complete the superhero assemble! Theme colors are yellow, red, and blue.
Princess Party
Dreams do come true! Decorate your tiara, fluff your tutu, and get ready to have a princess perfect party! Each birthday guest will receive their very own tutu and decorate a crown! Theme colors are pink, white, and gold.
